Bhubaneswar(17/02/2024): The 3rd day of Odisha Mining & Infrastructure International Expo witnessed the participation of industry experts in 2 separate panel discussion.
In the first panel discussion, the invited guests discussed on the topic Use of Industry 4.0 technologies in Mining Sector started with welcome address by Swami Prem Anvesh ji, MD, Futurex Group, where he discussed about the meaning of sustainable development, how destruction made by us should be stopped and to stop human greed for exploitation.
He emphasised on various steps to care our environment and no to over exploitation.
Bhavesh Singhavi, Co-Founder & CEO, InstaDigin, focused about developing digital solutions AI powered video analytics to find out the danger in advance.
Subarna Kanti Mallick, Key Accounts Manager, Epiroc Mining appreciated the organisers for focusing on the topic of usage of electric power in mining. Sanjoy Bandyopadhyay Spectris Technology discussed about the solution for exploitation quality control solution and to preserve environment for our future generation. Shankar N project Head Mining Squadrone Infra and Mining Pvt.Ltd.discussed about effective utilisation of resources, drone-based magnetometer and GPR technology drone-based magnetometer which will not harm natural resources and no exploration of trees while exploring natural resources and give importance about its autonomous drone in underground mines. Mahesh Mahamuni Director Synise Technologies limited spoke about new ways of e selling and selling good online using internet. Namit Gupta, Director Futurex Group felicitated the guests participated in the panel discussion.
In the second session, the guests discussed on the topic Skilling Indian Mining Workforce to be Future Ready which started with Punit Chaudhry, Secretary, PHDCCI. Sanjya Sharma, CEO Skill Council for Mining Sector discussed on skill projects in Odisha giving example of Nua Odisha (Jajpur- Odisha program), key skill projects with PSU industry and government. Dr Ajit Kumar Kar DGM (Training and Development), IMFA discussed on the future workforce focuses about more skill based work and empowering skilling in the Mining sector in future. Rabindra Kumar Singh Head training (RM), TATA steel presented his view on Skilling Indian Mining Workforce to be Future Ready. B.Sanghapriya Founder and CEO, IG Drones spoke on Digitisation, Automation, Drones and Robotics in Mining. Namit Gupta, Director, Futurex Group thanked Government of Odisha and all the partners who are associated with this Expo support the conclave and informed that more than 300 company participated in the expo.
There is a huge scope in mining sector in Odisha as it focusing more on sustainability and need based innovation.
