ORISSA HIGH COURT SEEKS REPORT FROM ASI ON STEPS TAKEN TO REPAIR JAGAMOHAN AND RATNA BHANDAR SINCE 2017
Cuttack(06/11/2023): The Orissa High Court on Monday directed the Archeological Survey of India (ASI) to submit a detail report on the steps taken since 2017 to repair the Jagamohan and Ratna Bhandar of Puri Srimandir. While hearing two different petitions- one on the Jagamohan and the other one on Ratna Bhandar, acting Chief Justice BR Sarangi observed no progress has been reached in the repair of the Jagamohan and Ratna Bhandar.
The High Court has asked the ASI to submit its report on the next hearing scheduled for November 8.
