Paddy procurement drive of Kharif marketing season begins

Bargarh (20/11/2024): Paddy procurement drive of Kharif marketing season began from Bargarh district of Odisha on Wednesday. Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Minister Krushna Chandra Patra launched the drive. Paddy will be procured at Rs 3100 per quintal from farmers. More than 1.55 lakh farmers have registered their names to sell paddy in the district which has 229 procurement centres.
