Potatoes to reach Odisha by train soon: Minister
Bhubaneswar(23/08/2024): Odisha Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Minister Krushna Chandra Patra informed that potatoes will reach Odisha soon by train.
According to the Minister, potatoes were available at Rs 20 per kg from yesterday.
Sufficient potatoes will be supplied through NAFED.
Two trips of onions will also arrive daily through NAFED.
Patra stated that potatoes will be brought from the state where they are available at a lower price.
