Retirement Felicitation meeting for Senior Assistant Purnachandra Padhi held at F.M. College
Balasore, 1/6(Krushna Kumar Mohanty)Sri Purnachandra Padhi, who began his service in Fakir Mohan College in 1990, has now formally retired after a distinguished career spanning several prestigious institutions, including Kuntala Kumari Sabat Women's College, Balasore, and ultimately, the heritage-rich Fakir Mohan College. He served in various responsible roles as a Senior and Chief Assistant.
A formal felicitation ceremony was held in his honour at the Principal's chamber, under the chairmanship of Professor Dillip Kumar Ghosh.
The event was graced by the presence of Professor Firoz Kumar Padhi (Administrative Officer), Professor Debendranath Raut (Accounts Officer), Professor Rajesh Raut (Controller of Examinations), Dr. Abhijit Das (Head of Commerce Department), Dr. Santosh Kumar Nayak (Head of Odia Department), Dr. Sameer Kumar Sahoo (Head of Integrated B.Ed. Department), Senior Assistant Sri Pradip Kumar Satapathy, Senior Assistant Sri Rabindra Kumar Mohanty, former Chief Assistant Sri Prabhat Kumar Tarai, Accountant Sri Prabhat Kumar Maharana, Smt. Ranjita Nayak, Junior Librarian Sri Shaktidhar Barik, Sri Gopabandhu Das, Sri Girijashankar Kar, and other non-teaching staff members. They all shared heartfelt speeches and personal reflections during the event.
As Sri Padhi recounted his long career and experiences, the atmosphere turned emotional, with many staff members visibly moved. The meeting concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by Sri Shaktidhar Barik, following a closing address by Principal Professor Ghosh.
