Seminar on Differently abled Student and Special Educator held
Bhubaneswar (30/09/2024): Odisha Special Educator Federation for Divyang (OSEFD) Association's district executive meeting and seminar on "Differently abled Student and Special Educator" were held under the coordination of Ayusman Choudhury, State Joint Secretary, OSEFD.
First, Speaker of Odisha Legislative Assembly Surma Padhi and other guests were honoured on behalf of the association. Surma Padhi was the chief guest.
Manasmita Jena, Secretary of SAKHYAM was the guest of honour. Vice-President of the SAKHYAM organisation, Dr.Binay Bhushan Mahapatra joined as the the chief speaker and discussed in detail the topic of differently abled students and special educators and on the issue of recruitment permanent special teachers for quality education of differently abled students in all general schools of Odisha as per the order of the Supreme Court.
The issue of decreasing number of CWSN students in general schools was also discussed.
The Speaker promised to take appropriate steps regarding the appointment of special teachers.
President of the association Suryakant Behera gave a welcome speech while Secretary, Jeevan Kumar Behera gave a vote of thanks and ended the meeting.
The parents gave their speeches in themeeting.
The dignitaries were graced by the chief guest and other distinguished guests.
In this event, 500 members including Nayagarh District President Truptimayee Pradhan, Secretary Sibhasmita Mishra, Vice President Arshi Upasana Kar, Joint Secretary Shiba Prasad Mishra were present.
