SIX-HOUR BANDH IN MAYURBHANJ'S JASHIPUR HITS NORMAL LIFE
Baripada(25/08/2023): A six-hour bandh being observed by the BJP affected normal life in Jashipur town of Mayurbhanj district on Friday.
The bandh started from 6 am. The demands of the party include improvement of deplorable road conditions in the town. Vehicular movement on NH 49 came to a grinding halt after the BJP workers picketed at strategic locations.
Educational institutions, business establishments, shops and markets remained closed. However, emergency services have been exempted from the bandh purview.
