SLEW OF DIGNITARIES START ARRIVING AT DELHI'S INDIRA GANDHI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT FOR G20 SUMMIT
Bhubaneswar (08/09/2023)/By Amrita Dash: Leaders have begun arriving in Delhi on Friday as the G20 Summit will officially begin within the next few hours.
Several world leaders, including the Prime Ministers of Italy and Argentina and the President of the International Monetary Fund, arrived in the national capital on Friday morning for the G20 conference.
There will be a slew of dignitaries arriving at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport today, including US President Joe Biden and UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
Traffic restrictions have gone into effect in various parts of Delhi as of today (September 8), and the entire New Delhi district will be off-limits to visitors and locals alike for the next three days (September 8-10), with the exception of emergency personnel.
In addition, the streets of Delhi are decorated with paintings, statues, fountains, and plants, and a massive monument of Nataraja stands in front of the Bharat Mandapam at Pragati Maidan, where the G20 Summit will take place .
