Stray dog census begins across Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar (By Abhishek Mohanty): The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Thursday launched a citywide stray dog census. The census will be conducted across all 67 wards of the BMC between September 18 and 25.
The survey will take place in two phases using scientific methods, covering each lane of the city.
The first phase will run from September 18 to 20, while the second phase will continue from September 21 to 24.
A total of 410 teams have been deployed across Bhubaneswar to carry out the census.
Under the supervision of expert veterinarians, Swachh Sathis, Swachh Supervisors, and Sanitary Inspectors are playing key roles in executing the exercise.
