Monsoon session of Odisha Assembly commences; House adjourned till September 19

Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): The monsoon session of Odisha Legislative Assembly commenced on Thursday. The House was immediately adhourned till 10:30 AM of September 19 after Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi presented a condolence motion in honour of the deceased members.

Condolence motions have been presented for six former members.

The session will continue until September 25, with 7 working days scheduled.
The BJD has announced to raise several issues including law and order, fertilizer shortage, women's safety issues.
The Congress has also decided to bring a no confidence motion during the session.
