YOUTH TRIES TO COMMITS SUICIDE AFTER LOSING IN ONLINE GAME
Angul (17/02/2024): A youth from Jereng village under Jarapada police limits in Angul district tried to commit suicide after losing in an online game. The youth has been identified as Soumyaranjan Naik. Naik reportedly lost his mental balance after losing three consecutive games. Frustrated by the losses, he reportedly tried to commit suicide by slitting his own throat by a razor. Naik was rushed to the district headquarters hospital for treatment.
His condition is said to be stable. According to sources, he was playing FIFA game in online mode.
