24 YEARS' ERA COMES TO END AS NAVEEN PATNAIK RESIGNS AS ODISHA CHIEF MINISTER

Bhubaneswar (05/06/2024): An era of 24 years came to an end as Naveen Patnaik resigned as the Chief Minister of Odisha. The BJD supremo met Odisha Governor Raghubar Das at the Raj Bhawan in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday and tendered his resignation as Chief Minister. The BJP has stormed to power in Odisha by winning 78 out of 147 assembly seats in the state. The saffron party is all set to form government in Odisha for the very first time. The BJD has managed to secure 51 seats.
