75000 medical seats will be created in the next five years: PM Modi
New Delhi (15/08/2024): Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted the national flag at Red Fort in New Delhi on the occasion of 78th Independence Day. The Advanced Light Helicopters of Indian Air Force were seen showering flower petals as the Prime Minister hoisted the Tiranga. Prime Minister, Narendra Modi announced that nearly 75,000 medical seats will be created in the next five years. He said, "In the last 10 years, we have ensured that there are nearly 1 lakh medical seats.
Nearly 25,000 youngsters go abroad for medical education, and they are having to go to such places that it astonishes me.
Due to this, we have decided that in the next five years, we will create 75,000 new medical seats." The PM said, "Vikshit Bharat 2047 is not mere words and that they are the reflection of the resolve and dreams of 140 crore people.
People have given many suggestions to make the country developed by 2046, including making nation manufacturing hub and seed capital." Stating that the natural disasters have heightened our concern over last few years, PM Modi expressed his sympathies to the affected families.
