Basta MLA Subasini Jena Lights Lamp Praying for Naveen Patnaik’s Speedy Recovery
Balasore, 26/6 (Krushna Kumar Mohanty): While former Chief Minister and BJD President Naveen Patnaik is undergoing treatment in Mumbai, Basta MLA Subasini Jena offered prayers and lit lamps at the Langaleswar Mahadev Temple and the Ishwarabarti Temple in Basta, wishing for his swift and complete recovery so he may return to serve the people of Odisha soon.
On this occasion, the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) unit of Baliapal Block conducted a collective lamp-lighting ceremony at Langaleswar, while the Basta Block BJD organized a similar event at the Ishwarabarti Temple.
Joining the MLA in these spiritual observances were Baliapal Block BJD President Govind Prasad Das, Basta Block BJD President Anil Mohanty, Zilla Parishad Member Benudhar Jena, Nishakar Sethy, Devika Soren, Basta Block Chairperson Anjali Das, and BJD leaders Chakradhar Giri, Bhagaban Giri, Pradeep Biswal, Subrat Kumar Panda, Maheswar Jena, Mahadev Das, Deb Kumar Deo, Ashwini Kumar Jena, Lakshmidhar Das, Ajay Samal, Mahendra Barik, Soumyadeep Chakravarty, Debiprasad Bhanja, Jayprakash Behera, Ranjan Kumar Dhal, Sangram Parida, Anupam Mohanty, Sushanta Behera, Kasturibala Patra, Ranjita Tung, and Sultana Nayak. Over a hundred BJD workers participated in these events.
