Bharat Bandh: Protestors stage rail roko agitation at Bhubaneswar railway station

Bhubaneswar (21/08/2024): The 12-hour nationwide bandh called by Dalit and Adivasi organisations affected normal life in Odisha. A group of protestors staged rail roko agitation at Bhubaneswar railway station and halted the Visakha Express demanding for stronger representation and protection of the marginalised communities. Public transportation was also disrupted as the bandh supporters staged protests at railway stations and bus stops in Bhubaneswar, Sambalpur, Rayagada and several other places in the state.
