BHUBANESWAR RECEIVES LIGHT RAINFALL; SEVERAL ODISHA DISTRICTS TO EXPERIENCE SHOWERS TODAY

Bhubaneswar(24/02/2024): Most places in Bhubaneswar witnessed light rainfall on Saturday morning. According to the Meteorological Department, several districts of Odisha are likely to receive light to moderate rainfall today. Light to moderate rain/ thunderstorm very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Deogarh, Sundargarh, Boudh, Kandhamal, and at one or two places over the districts of South Coastal Odisha, Rayagada, Koraput, and Malkangiri. Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, and Boudh. Owing to the rainfall activities, many places in the state recorded drop in day temperature .
