BJP LEADER AMIYA DASH JOINS BJD

Bhubaneswar(01/05/2024): BJP leader Amiya Dash has resigned from the BJP.

He joined BJD in a huge procession taken out from Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar with about 2,000 people including teachers, servitor chiefs, former mandal presidents, ward presidents and women. Amiya, who had served as district president twice, worked as BJP state vice president for a few days.

He was in charge of Puri Lok Seva sector.

The BJP, which was in the third place in the Ekamra constituency, has now become the main opposition.

In 2009, former state president Sameer Mohanty got 13 percent of the votes, while in 2014, Amiya Dash got 26 percent of the votes.

So, in 2019, Amiya Dash formed the Sangathan and planned to strengthen from the BJP.

For 5 years, he had strived hard day and night and work for the party.

However, the party leaders brought Babu Singh into the party and voted for him.

Amiya was sitting quietly.

As a result, Ashok Chandra Panda won easily from the BJD.

This time, after the BJP party again gave ticket to Babu Singh, Amiya became unhappy.

He has now left the party.

Amiya, who was associated with the workers from the grassroots, was involved in several programmes and union works with the RSS since childhood.

In the dire situation of the party, he became the BJP district president twice and made the party people-oriented. He was involved from the beginning of the Ram temple establishment movement. Amiya said, "Even after devoting a lot of time and providing services to the BJP, the party ignored my contribution.

I was involved in the Ram Temple movement for 35 years after working in the RSS from a young age.

Being the district president for 6 years while the party was not active, a lot of work has been done to strengthen the party.

However, Biju Janata Dal is now the only option to provide more opportunities to the people and help the poor.

So I made up my mind to join BJD.".
