India- US to jointly combat terrorism
Bhubaneswar (14/02/2025): Prime Minister Narendra Modi held talks with United States President Donald Trump at the White House on Friday. Following the meeting, a joint statement by the two nations was released, stating that India and US aim to double bilateral trade to $500 billion by 2030.
Both the nations have decided to jointly combat terrorism. PM Modi extended an invitation to President Trump to visit India for the QUAD Summit. The PM on illegal immigrants said, "Most of the people staying illegally are from ordinary families and are misguided by human traffickers.
India is willing to take back its nationals if they live illegally in the US." President Trump announced that we will provide India with F-35 stealth fighter jets.
Trump also announced extradition of Tahawwur Hussain Rana.
Both the nations reaffirmed their commitment to dynamic defence partnership.
India and the US will undertake initiative to develop AI and chips.
