Conduct more research in Ayurveda: President to students
Puri(04/12/2024): President Droupadi Murmu attended the diamond jubilee celebration of the Gopabandhu Ayurveda College in Puri on Wednesday.
In her address, the President urged students to conduct more research in Ayurveda. President Murmu emphasised the importance of yoga and Ayurveda in maintaining good health and preventing diseases.
She also highlighted the significance of Ayurvedic treatment methods and the need to focus on a healthy diet and lifestyle. The President also mentioned that many ancient Ayurvedic texts, including those written on palm leaves, are still preserved in various libraries and homes.
These texts contain valuable information on Ayurvedic treatments and remedies, she added.
