Cuttack Tension: Three more arrested
Cuttack(By Abhishek Mohanty): The Commissionerate Police has arrested three more persons in connection with the Dussehra immersion clash in Cuttack.
Earlier, six individuals had been arrested; with the latest arrests, the total now stands at nine, informed ACP Girija Chakraborty on Thursday.
He further stated that more arrests are likely as the investigation continues.
Police teams carried out intensive inspections in the Hatipokhari and Kadam Rasul areas.
Two ACPs, three IICs, and a large contingent of police personnel have been deployed to maintain order.
The Commissionerate Police, in coordination with central forces, is conducting door-to-door checks to ensure peace and security in the city.
