Doctor 'rapes' two patients at SCB
Cuttack (13/08/2024): A doctor of the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack allegedly raped two patients in the campus of the healthcare institution. The accused was admitted to the ICU of the hospital after being thrashed by family members of victims. The accused doctor of the Cardiology department of the SCB raped the two victims who had come for ECG on August 11.
The Mangalabag Police has started an investigation into the matter. Additional DCP Anil Mishra informed that a case has been registered.
The statements of the victims will be recorded as per the existing provisions.
Only after conducting further investigation, appropriate action will be taken, if the allegations are found to be true.
