Dr. Chaudhuri Satyabrata Nanda’s Book ‘Kahithili Dine’ Unveiled

Balasore | 5 June – (Krushna Kumar Mohanty) Under the auspices of the Odia Bhasha Bikash Andolan (OBBA), Dr. Chaudhuri Satyabrata Nanda’s book ‘Kahithili Dine’ was formally released at the Lucky International Auditorium in Balasore.
The event, held to coincide with Dr. Nanda’s birthday, was presided over by Dr. Laxmikanta Tripathy, General Secretary of the organising committee. Attending as the chief guest, Prof. Supriti Mishra, Dean of International Management Institute, Bhubaneswar, described Dr. Nanda as an exceptional orator. She noted that his philosophical discourses on a wide range of subjects captivate his audience, and that his public speeches often reflect values he genuinely practices in his own life—making him a living example of what he preaches.
The Vice-Chancellor of Fakir Mohan University, Prof. Santosh Kumar Tripathy, who graced the occasion as the keynote speaker, hailed Dr. Nanda as a man of admirable personality. Highlighting his multifaceted identity—as an accomplished physician, refined writer, popular speaker, social worker, and a compassionate soul—he stated that Dr. Nanda has become a role model for many in society. He also extended his warm wishes for Dr. Nanda’s long life on his birthday.
Former President of Fakir Mohan Sahitya Parishad and senior researcher Dr. Shirish Chandra Jena spoke as the principal speaker, offering an in-depth analysis of the newly released book. Poet Deepak Bose, attending as a distinguished guest, remarked on how every speech delivered by Dr. Nanda leaves a lasting impression on listeners’ minds.
The event began with a devotional song penned by Deepak Bose and performed by Guru Satyaranjan Mohanty. Writer Nibaran Jena conducted the stage proceedings and introduced the guests. Prof. Rashmirekha Pati delivered the concluding remarks. Engineer Saradaprasanna Nanda, Dr. Soma Nanda, and Engineer Sudhir Kumar Dash assisted in the overall coordination of the event.
The book launch was attended by a large number of literary figures and intellectuals from across the city.
