ELDERLY WOMAN FALLS INTO ABANDONED BOREWELL

Sonepur(14/11/2023): An 80-year-old woman fell into an abandoned borewell near Kainphula village along Sonepur-Burda Road on Tuesday. Fire and emergency services personnel have launched an operation to rescue the elderly woman who accidentally fell into the 20-feet deep borewell. Oxygen is being supplied into the borewell to help the woman breathe. Fire and Emergency Services DG Sudhanshu Sarangi informed that the rescue operation may take another one hour.

NDRF personnel have also been engaged for the operation .
