Eminent journalist Dr.Satish Kumar Dash wins first Indian Icon Award for best reporting on Dalit, Tribal issues
Bhubneswar(09/09/2024): Times Now Navbharat's Odisha journalist, Dr.Satish Kumar Dash, was awarded the "First Indian Icon Award" for his contribution to the field of journalism. Former Governor of Andhra Pradesh and Chhattisgarh Biswa Bhushan Harichandan was present as a chief guest in the ceremony held at the Buddha Mandir at Unit-9 in Bhubaneswar on the occasion of Nuakhai Parba. The awards organised by World Home International in which many awardees were felicitated for their outstanding contribution in their respective fields.These fields include visual arts, literature, music, acting, sports, journalism, social work and community services. Dash is an experienced journalist of more than 5 years and specialises in reporting from Odisha. His reports highlight the ground reality of the tribals comunity. Dash also a recipient of various National & International Awards such as Shinning Star Talent Honour 2023 Award, International Kalki Gourav Award, Swami Vivekananda Seva Ratna Award, Indo-spanish international award 2024 and Indian Individual Excellence Award 2024.
