Explosives found from two vehicles in Rourkela

Bhubaneswar (By Abhishek Mohanty): Huge quantities of explosives were seized from two vehicles near a petrol pump at Raghunathpali in Rourkela of Sundargarh district on Sunday.
The vehicles were found abandoned near the petrol pump. On receiving information in this regard from the owner of the filling station, the local Tehsildar, police and officials from the Mining department reached the spot and checked the vehicles.
Around 160 packs of explosives were recovered from the two vehicles.
On May 27, a group of Maoists from the neighboring Jharkhand had stolen around four tonnes of explosives from a stone quarry in K.Balang area of the district. The security forces recovered around 70 percent of the stolen explosives during a massive operation at Saranda forest in Jharkhand on May 30.
