Fakir Mohan Sahitya Parishad Organises the Grand Launch of Literary Journal 'Akshyansha'

The auspicious launch ceremony of Odisha’s leading literary journal 'Akshyansha', organised by the aegis of Fakir Mohan Sahitya Parishad (FMSP), was held this afternoon with much enthusiasm.
The event began with the welcome address by Dr. Subas Chandra Patra, President of the Parishad. This was followed by an introductory note by secretary Dr. Ratnakar Singh.
Editor of the journal Dr. Harischandra Behera spoke about the literary journals published in Odisha and shared his experience of editing 'Akshyansha' continuously for the past 23 years. Honourary Editor Anjali Panda highlighted the literary publications currently brought out from Balasore and expressed hope that 'Akshyansha' would continue to win readers’ appreciation.
Delivering the keynote address, Professor Rabindra Kumar Das of Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan, discussed the present status of Odia literature in the global literary context.
The journal was formally released by Professor Santosh Kumar Tripathy, Vice-Chancellor of Fakir Mohan University. In his speech, he praised 'Akshyansha' highly and urged readers to engage with such meaningful publications.
On this occasion, poets Yashodhara Das, Preetilekha Das, Ranjan Baug, Jyotsna Ray, Ratnakar Singh, Jumar Nath Patra, and Deeptilata Das recited their poems published in the journal. Dr. Sarangadhar Tripathy was felicitated by the Vice-Chancellor.
The programme concluded with a poetry recitation and vote of thanks by Kalyani Nanda, Joint Secretary of FMSP. A large number of literature lovers attended the ceremony, making it a memorable event.
