Farmers affected by unseasonal rainfall to receive financial assistance through DBT mode soon

Bhubaneswar(28/12/2024): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Saturday announced that financial assistance will be provided to farmers affected by unseasonal rainfall through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode soon.

This assistance will be given to all farmers, regardless of whether they have insurance or not.

Additionally, farmers who grow paddy and other crops will also receive assistance. As of now, 1 lakh farmers have applied for assistance.

Other farmers have been advised to apply for the same.
