FOUR-DAY LONG PROPACK ODISHA & ODISHA PLAST CONCLUDES
Bhubaneswar(02/10/2023): The 4-day long Propack Odisha International Expo 2023 and Odisha Plast International Expo 2023 organised by Orissa Assembly of Small and Medium Enterprise (OASME) and Futurex Group successfully concluded today at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar.
The expo was jointly organized in collaboration with MSME Department and Ministry of MSME, Government of Odisha. The Expo emerged as the unrivalled pioneer of the B2B exhibition landscape.
Started on 29th September the expo exhibits products, technologies and services combining sectors ranging from food and beverages to pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, plastics, personal care, and household goods processing and packaging industries.
In this closing ceremony, Vishal Dev- Principal Secretary, Department of Finance, Odisha, Sharda Prasanna Mohanty-Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Bhubaneswar, Bhupendra Singh Punia– Managing Director IDCO and IPICOL, MD.Sadique Alam-Director of Industries, Odisha Government, Mukesh Mohan- Executive Director, IOCL, P L Haranadh, IRTS,-Chairman, Paradise Port Authority, Bibhuti Bhushan Das- IOFS Special Secretary, Department of MSME, Government of Odisha, P K Gupta, IEDS, Joint Director and HOO, MSME DFO, Ministry of MSME, Government of India and others were present. Seeing the enormous success of this year, the Satwik Swain, Secretary (Hony.) OASME, said that the second edition of Propack Odisha 2023 and Odisha Plast 2023 has been very successful.
Next year we will try to make this expo even bigger.
In this international expo there were about 250 stalls and more than 50,000 people visited.
Along with this many constructive business discussions were also held.
The expo also provided opportunities for women entrepreneurs.
The third day was dedicated for women with the theme “The contribution of women in the social economy of the state and the country.".
