Free Oral Health Screening Camp benefits 60 people at Salia Sahi

A one-day Free Oral Health Screening Camp was successfully organised at Salia Sahi, Nayapalli, Bhubaneswar, for the benefit of needy people, children, physically challenged persons, and senior citizens.
The camp was organised by Excel Cricket Academy, Bhubaneswar, in association with Hi-Tech Dental College & Hospital.
The camp was inaugurated by Kabita Suar, Founder of Excel Cricket Academy, along with Srimant Suar, Secretary, Dr. Prasanta Suar, President, Santosh Gouda and Sankar Das, community leaders by cutting the ceremonial ribbon.
A specialised dental team from Hi-Tech Dental College & Hospital provided free dental check-ups and consultations.
The medical team included Dr. Monika Mishra (Faculty, Department of Conservative Dentistry) and Dr. Aurobinda Sahoo, assisted by dental interns Dr. Ankita Mishra, Dr. Ankita Sahu, Dr. Guru Prasad Jena, and Dr. Himanshu Kedia.
Around 60 patients were benefited from the camp.
The doctors and health workers also created awareness among the local residents on oral hygiene, preventive dental care, and the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
The entire programme was effectively coordinated and managed by Prasanta Kumar Pradhan, Social Worker, with active cooperation from volunteers of the Tarini Nagar Peace Committee, ensuring smooth conduct of the camp.
Such initiatives highlight the commitment of the organisers towards community welfare and accessible healthcare for underprivileged sections of society.
