FULL DRESS REHEARSAL HELD IN BHUBANESWAR FOR INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE

Bhubaneswar(13/08/2023): The full dress rehearsal for Independence Day parade was held at Exhibition Ground in Bhubaneswar on Sunday. Five continents participated in the rehearsal. DGP Sunil Bansal took stock of the security arrangements and said, "Tight security arrangements have been made not only in Bhubaneswar but also other parts of Odisha with special focus on Maoist affected areas.

Strict vigil has been kept on the border areas." For smooth celebration of Independence Day in the state capital, the Commissionerate Police has intensified security checking.

On Saturday night, 60 teams comprising 400 constables and senior police officers carried out checking and blocking at multiple locations.

Patrolling was intensified with regular blocking at 26 entry and exit points.
