Grand Auction of Players for SPL 2.0 Cricket Tournament held
Bhubaneswar (22/10/2024): The Grand Auction of Players for SPL 2.0 Cricket Tournament organised by Cosmopolton Cricket Club, Sahid Nagar, was held at the Seetal Hotel in Bhubaneswar on October 20, 2024. The auction included 110 players from Sahid Nagar, who were auctioned to 6 teams. The six teams who will participated are headed by owner, Co-Owner & Icon Player respectively as below; Sahid Nagar Spartans- Umanath Mishra, Niroj Sahoo & Ananda Dwivedy. Sahid Nagar Warriors– Sitakanta Mohapatra, Lipun & D.Sankar Rao. Saheed Nagar superkings – Amresh Jena, Rao & Deepak Behera. Saheed Nagar Lions– Naren Sahoo, Vikram Panda & Dipu Sahu. Sahid Nagar Panthers – Biswaranjan Mohanty, Subhrajit Swain & Alok Prusty. Sahid Nagar Asit Mallick, Sanjeeb Mishra, Uma Jena, Rajendra Sahoo & Avilash Das. The event aims towards creating voter ID card awareness and to exercise their right to vote for upcoming young mass.This event slong with this cricket event is promoted by the Prachesta Trust.
This event also gives platform to Showcase different pool of talent who don't get opportunity.
