Hindu Convention held in Bhubaneswar 


Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): A grand Hindu Convention was held at the premises of the Rameswar Temple in Bhubaneswar. 
The event was inaugurated by Swami Shraddhananda Saraswati Maharaj, National Organising General Secretary of the Akhil Bharatiya Sant Samiti, who called upon followers of Hinduism to maintain unity and extend mutual support and cooperation.


Addressing the gathering, Swami Shraddhananda Saraswati said that Sanatan Dharma is an ancient faith which has always stood as a symbol of peace and unity.

Former judge Justice Chittaranjan Das attended the programme as the chief guest and stated that success can be achieved when people remain united and follow the spiritual path.

National Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Bidyut Mukherjee and RSS Odisha Purba Prant Mahavidyalaya head Manoranjan Pradhan spoke as key speakers. They highlighted the importance of Hindu unity.

The programme was organised under the coordination of Debabrata Nayak of the Devayug Parivar. 

Saints, scholars, intellectuals and thousands of people from various states and regions participated in the convention.

On the occasion, it was announced that a marathon along with the Brahma Bindu programme would be organised in the days to come. 

The event also featured collective recitation of the Sundarakanda and Hanuman Chalisa.
