Item dancers not to perform during Jatra shows at Khandagiri

Bhubaneswar(14/01/2025): Items dancers will not be allowed to perform during the Jatra shows at Khandagiri in Bhubaneswar. The decision has been taken in this regard at a meeting between the Khandagiri and the Jatra Committees on Tuesday. Especially, Jatra actresses Nisha, Sahu Bhauja and Rani Priyadarshini have been banned to perform during the Jatra shows.

The Item dancers barring the above three mentioned cannot also perform during the Jatra Shows scheduled to commence from February 6 till February 17. As many as 13 opera organisers will hold shows at Khandagiri.
