LPG cylinder price hiked by Rs 50

Bhubaneswar(07/04/2025): The price of LPG cylinders has been hiked by Rs 50 per 14.2 kg cylinder for both subsidised and non subsidised consumers with effect from April 8.

This was informed by Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri on Monday.

The price increased is applicable to both Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) beneficiaries as well as other consumers. The Minister said, "For PMUY beneficiaries, the price will rise from Rs 500 to Rs 550 per cylinder.

For other consumers, it will increase from Rs 803 to Rs 853." .
