Naveen Patnaik re-elected as BJD President

Naveen Patnaik has been re-elected as the President of the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) for the ninth consecutive term. The announcement was made by Pratap Deb, the party's election officer, at the Sankha Bhawan in Bhubaneswar on Saturday in presence of senior party leaders and workers. 

Patnaik was the sole candidate who had nomination the position of the party's President solidifying his continued leadership of the party.

Speaking on the occasion, Patnaik said, "Fight Odisha's rights will continue. The state's pride is paramount to us."
