Senior journalist Ratikanta Mohanty no more

Bhubaneswar: Senior journalist Ratikanta Mohanty passed away at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar on Saturday morning. He was 70.
Mohanty died due to prolonged illness.
In his 40-year career, Mohanty had worked with many regional and national dailies including The Asian Age, Dinalipi and The Paryabekhyaka. 

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi and Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik expressed deep grief over the demise of the journalist.

Media persons and political leaders across party lines rushed to his residence at Kharvela Nagar in Bhubaneswar to pay their last respects.
