Odisha CM chairs final review meeting for Rath Yatra 2025

Bhubaneswar (By Abhishek Mohanty): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Sunday chaired the final review meeting for the world famous Rath Yatra 2025.
Deputy Chief Ministers KV Singhdeo, Pravati Parida, Law Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan, Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling, Transport Minister Bibhuti Bhusan Jena, Housing & Urban Development Minister Krushnachandra Mahapatra, MLAs from Puri district, senior police officers, officials from Health, Fire Services and Civic Departments attended the meeting.

The Chief Minister directed the officials to ensure real-time coordination during the festival and said all the departments are working tirelessly for smooth conduct of Rath Yatra. He placed special emphasis on safety of devotees.
Meanwhile, DGP YB Khurania informed that a total of 275 Artificial Intelligence (AI) cameras will monitor Puri during the world famous Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath.
The DGP said, "Drone surveillance arrangement has been put in place for traffic control and crowd control. Chatbot app will be used for real-time traffic updates and route maps. More than 10,000 security personnel will be deployed under 5-tier arrangement."
Quick Response Teams (QRTs), anti-terror teams, Marine Police, Navy and Coast Guard will be on the ground.
Total 26 parking zones have been identified. There will be green corridor for ambulances.
