Major fire breaks out biscuit factory in Cuttack

Cuttack (By Abhishek Mohanty ): A major fire broke out at a biscuit factory in Jagatpur in Cuttack on Saturday.

Machinery, goods and materials worth lakhs of rupees were reduced to ashes.
Fortunately, no injury was reported as the employees ran outside the factory after noticing smoke.

Three fire tenders managed to douse the blaze after an hour-long operation.

It is suspected that the an electric short circuit was the cause of the fire. 

Firefighters used helmets, oxygen masks and cylinders in the operation.
