Miscreants loot ornaments from Maa Santoshi temple in Nuapada

Nuapada (13/11/2024):.Unidentified miscreants allegedly stole ornaments and cash from Maa Santoshi temple at Junani village under Khariar police station in Nuapada district late on Tuesday night. The priest found the ornaments and cash missing after he opened the temple. Subsequently, Shukla informed about the theft incident to the founder of the temple. On the basis of a complaint lodged at Khariar police station in this regard, the cops started investigation. The miscreants entered the temple premises with a bamboo made ladder and looted ornaments from the temple by breaking the lock.

The looters managed to flee the spot by leaving the ladder and throwing the broken donation box behind the temple.
