Anshu Gupta, mother of Arshika, shared her thoughts on her daughter's achievement, saying, "Seeing my 10-year-old daughter win the National Arithmetic Championship among over 6,000 participants was an overwhelming and proud moment.
Watching her solve problems with such confidence and joy was truly special.
It wasn’t just about winning; it was about her passion for numbers, her dedication, and hard work.
Bhanzu has not only strengthened my daughter's mathematical abilities but also built her confidence and problem-solving skills.
I am excited to see how Bhanzu continues to nurture young talent." This competition, organized by Bhanzu, a global math learning platform founded by Neelakantha Bhanu, the World’s Fastest Human Calculator, was a thrilling event where students competed head-to-head, solving 180,000 questions, with over 45,000 correct answers recorded in the final round alone.
Bhanzu empowers students to build math confidence and solve problems four times faster through such competition, making math both fun and relatable." Reflecting on the competition, the brain behind the competition Neelakantha Bhanu, who also won the gold medal for India at the 2020 Mental Calculation World Championship, said, "Champions aren’t born, they are made through countless hours of practice, and the same goes for our National Arithmetic Championship finalists.
These young contestants, who are no less than sports athletes participated from all across India and tackled a staggering 45,000+ math problems.
Although the competition was designed to span a week, these students completed the challenges in minutes.
