Notorious criminal Hund injured in police encounter in Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: A dreaded criminal was injured in an encounter with police near Mangalpur under Sadar police limits in Dhenkanal on Thursday morning.
The criminal identified as Debashish Behera alias Hund was planning for a murder when the exchange of fire took place. 

Hund, a mastermind of the gang named King of Forest, sustained bullet injuries in his leg during the encounter. He was rushed to Dhenkanal District Headquarters Hospital and later shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack after his condition became critical.

Hund has more than 20 cases including murder, dacoity and theft registered against him at different police stations.
