Nuapada victory marks new chapter in Odisha politics: CM Majhi

Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday said that the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) victory in the Nuapada bypoll has opened a new chapter in Odisha’s political landscape.

Reacting to the results, the Chief Minister stated that the landslide win reflects the people’s deep trust in the government's policies and welfare programmes. “This victory proves that the people have rejected the opposition’s misinformation campaigns and false promises,” Majhi said.

He added that the mandate clearly shows the public’s support for development-oriented governance. “The people of Odisha have endorsed the BJP’s vision and given us a decisive mandate,” he noted.

Majhi further said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, development has become the central driving force across the country. “We are working day and night under Modi ji’s guidance to ensure rapid progress in Odisha,” he said.

Expressing gratitude to the people of Nuapada, the CM said their support has provided the government with new energy and motivation. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to the comprehensive development of Nuapada district.
