PORTFOLIOS ALLOCATED TO ODISHA MINISTERS
Bhubaneswar (15/06/2024): The allotment of portfolios to the newly-formed Council of Ministers was approved by Governor Raghubar Das on the advice of Chief Minister Mohan Majhi. The Chief Minister retained Home, General Administration, Information & Public Relations, Water Resources, Planning & Convergence, and any other department not specifically assigned so far Deputy Chief Minister KV Singhdeo has been allotted Agriculture & Energy.
Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida got Women & Child Development, Mission Shakti & Tourism departments. Cabinet Minister Suresh Pujari got Revenue & Disaster Management department and Rabi Narayan Naik has been allotted Rural Development, Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water department. While Nityananda Gond got School & Mass Education, ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare, Social Security & Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities department, Krushna Chandra Patra haa been allotted Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare, Science & Technology department. Besides, Prithviraj Harichandan got Law, Works and Excise departments. Dr Mukesh Mahaling has been allotted Health & Family Welfare, Parliamentary Affairs, Electronics & Information Technology departments. Bibhuti Bhushan Jena got Commerce & Transport and Steel & Mines departments. Dr Krushna Chandra Mahapatra got Housing & Urban Development, Public Enterprises. This apart, Ganesh Ram Singkhuntia got Forest, Environment and Climate Change department. Suryabanshi Suraj has been allotted Higher Education, Sports & Youth Services, Odia Language, Literature & Culture departments. Pradeep Bal Samanta has been allotted Cooperation, Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts departments. Gokulananda Mallik is the Minister of Fisheries & Animal Resources Development, Micro, Small & Medium Enterprise departments and Sampad Chandra Swain got Industries,Skill Development & Technical Education departments.
