OATH TAKING CEREMONY TO MARK ANTI-CHILD LABOUR DAY
Bhubaneswar (30/04/2024): To mark Anti-Child Labour Day, an oath taking ceremony and community level awareness meeting was organised by ActionAid Association in collaboration with Centre for Child and Women Development (CCWD) at Nilachakra Nagar under ward no-26 of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation.
The objective of the programme was to aware the different stakeholders to abide the rule and regulations relating to child labour and join hands to make Odisha a child labour free state, said Sadasiv Swain, Secretary of CCWD.
Joining as chief guest senior journalist Surendra Patra reflected on every family should aware about the value of education and we have to create a safe environment for children at community level, he added.
Among others child club leader Sandhyarani Sahoo, Vice President of ASM Phulamani Patra, Basanta Kumar Sethy and Kalyani Rout spoke on this occasion.
An oath taking ceremony was conducted at the venue.

Lastly Renubala Sahoo proposed a warm vote of thanks to all.
In this programme, the members of Bhubaneswar Young Urban Women Forum, Anasangathita Sramik Manch and social activists joined.
