ODISHA HEALTH DEPARTMENT TAKES HEATWAVE MITIGATION MEASURES FOR ELECTIONS

Bhubaneswar (01/05/2024): The Odisha Health department has taken some heatwave mitigation measures for the upcoming general elections. As per decision, one paramedical staff will accompany the sector officers in their vehicles alongwith essential medicines during the elections. Mobile health units shall be deployed at the level of blocks/clusters of gram panchayats with one AYUSH doctor and one medical staff to attend on emergency call on heatstroke to voters/polling personnel.
