Odisha ready to handle any threat: Law Minister

Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): In the wake of the recent explosion in Delhi that claimed 13 lives and left more than 30 others injured, Odisha has been placed on high alert.

Security around Puri Srimandir has been substantially reinforced.

Measures have also been enhanced at all railway stations and airports throughout the state. 

State Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan stated that security would be ramped up at all tourist destinations and heritage sites as well.

The Minister added there is no immediate threat to Odisha. However the state government is fully equipped to respond to any potential danger.
