Odisha SRC alerts Collectors over heavy rainfall

Bhubaneswar(10/8/2024): Due to the active low-pressure system over the Bay of Bengal, rainfall is expected in many parts of Odisha.

There is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall in north Odisha.

Keeping this in view, Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) Satyabrata Sahu, has alerted the district Collectors of north Odisha.

The Collectors have been advised to monitor the situation. Heavy rainfall is likely to continue in the state till August 19.
