ODISHA SRC DIRECTS MUNICIPAL COMMISSIONERS TO OPEN JALACHATRAS AT CONSPICUOUS PLACES OF PUBLIC GATHERING

Bhubaneswar(05/04/2024): Odisha Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) on Friday directed the Municipal Commissioners of Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Rourkela, Berhampur and Sambalpur to open Jalachatras at conspicuous places of public gathering. The Municipal Commissioners have been asked to take all precautionary measures in view of the heatwave conditions. Meanwhile, Bhubaneswar recorded the highest temperature of the state at 39.8 degrees Celsius by 11:30 am today. Keonjhar recorded 39.2 degrees Celsius followed by Balasore and Jharsuguda with 38 degrees Celsius.
