CONDITIONS BECOMING FAVOURABLE FOR ONSET OF SOUTHWEST MONSOON OVER KERALA: IMD

Bhubaneswar (07/06/2023): The conditions are becoming favourable for onset of southwest monsoon over Kerala in the next 48 hours. This was informed by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday. Meanwhile, heatwave conditions continued to affect normal life in several places of Odisha with Sambalpur sizzling at 41 degree Celsius by 11:30 am today.

Similarly, Jharsuguda recorded 40.6 degree Celsius. Bhubaneswar recorded day temperature of 41 degree Celsius and Hirakud registered 39.8 degree Celsius.
