Bhubaneswar (18/03/2025): Odisha is set to have its first-ever university for the visually impaired, which will be established in Cuttack.
This university will be modeled after Japan's Sukuba University and will be named after Santakabi Bhima Bhoi. The university aims to provide higher education opportunities to the visually impaired, promoting inclusivity and accessibility.
This initiative is part of the state government's efforts to support the education and empowerment of persons with disabilities.
